No post de hoje venho falar-vos de 5 produtos de maquilhagem que me arrependo de ter comprado! Comprei-os quando ainda me estava a iniciar neste mundo da maquilhagem, há uns anos atrás. No entanto, nenhum deles funcionou como eu queria. Deixo-vos aqui a lista destes produtos e as razões pelas quais não gosto deles:


1. Base All Day Mat (KIKO MILANO)
Pontos positivos: cheira bem e tem doseador. Pontos negativos: comprei a cor mais clara (01 Peach Rose) que ainda assim é demasiado escura para o meu tom de pele; a base oxida e fica ainda mais escura; pouca variedade de tons; baixa cobertura; aspecto cakey.

2. Corrector Soft Focus (KIKO MILANO)
Segundo a marca, este produto é um corrector iluminador (caneta). Pontos positivos: embalagem atractiva. Pontos negativos: muito baixa cobertura; não ilumina; pouca variedade de tons (apenas 4); doseador de "clique" que dificulta a utilização do produto. Para piorar comprei o corrector na cor errada (03 Medium), mas penso que todas tinham um tom amarelado, nada adequados à minha pele (que é de tom rosa)!

3. Máscara Volumeyes Plus Active (KIKO MILANO)
Pontos positivos: aumenta o comprimento e dá volume às pestanas. Pontos negativos: não separa bem as pestanas (cria um efeito de "teia de aranha"); borra facilmente; pouco pigmentada.

4. Batom Unlimited Stylo (KIKO MILANO)
Antes de passar aos pontos positivos e negativos quero só dizer que o produto é apresentado como sendo um batom semi matte e de longa duração (até 8 horas). Pontos positivos: cheira bem, tem uma cor linda, é cremoso e não seca os lábios! Pontos negativos: a aplicação é completamente irregular (a cor não fica bem distribuída por todo o lábio e não é opaca); sai facilmente (logo não é de longa duração).

5. Paleta de sombras (H&M)
Deixei para último lugar o pior produto de maquilhagem que alguma vez comprei! Não consigo encontrar nenhum ponto positivo nesta paleta de sombras! Então vamos aos pontos negativos: cheiro nada agradável; muito pouca pigmentação; aplicação muito irregular; muito fall out; difíceis de esfumar. Esta paleta é simplesmente horrível! Acho que já a tenho há pelo menos 4 anos (se não mais) e quase não a usei.


Ainda pensei fazer um look de maquilhagem completo utilizando todos estes produtos, mas depois vocês assustavam-se e nunca mais voltavam aqui ao blog! Como podem ter reparado, a maioria destes produtos são da KIKO porque eu costumava ir lá comprar muita maquilhagem mas não vou lá mais, simplesmente desisti da marca! Quanto à H&M, sinto que melhoraram muito desde há uns anos para cá e estou curiosa para experimentar a nova maquilhagem deles. Desde o packaging à qualidade dos produtos em si, parece-me que muita coisa mudou.

In today's post I come to talk to you about 5 makeup products that I regret having purchased! I bought them when I was still starting in this world of makeup, a few years ago. However, none of them worked as I wanted. I leave you here the list of these products and the reasons why I do not like them:


1. All Day Mat Foundation (KIKO MILANO)
Pros: smells good and comes with a pump. Cons: bought the lightest shade (01 Peach Rose) that it is still too dark for my skin tone; the foundation oxidizes and becomes even darker; little variety of shades; low coverage; cakey appearance.

2. Soft Focus Concealer (KIKO MILANO)
According to the brand, this product is an enlightening concealer (pen). Pros: attractive packaging. Cons: very low coverage; doesn't highlight; little variety of shades (only 4); "Click" doser that makes it difficult to use the product. To make things worse I bought the wrong color corrector in (03 Medium), but I think they all had a yellowish tone, nothing suitable for my skin (which has a pink tone)!

3. Volumeyes Plus Active Mascara (KIKO MILANO)
Pros: increases the length and gives volume to the lashes. Cons: doesn't separate the eyelashes  nicely (creates an effect "spider web"); smudges easily; little pigmentation.

4. Unlimited Stylo Lipstick (KIKO MILANO)
Before moving to the pros and cons I just want to say that the product is presented as a semi matte and long lasting (up to 8 hours) lipstick. Pros: smells good, has a beautiful color, is creamy and doesn't dry the lips! Cons: the application is completely irregular (the color is not evenly distributed around the lip and is not opaque); comes out easily (so it's not long lasting).

5. Paleta de sombras (H&M)
I left for last the worst makeup product I have ever bought! I can not find any positive point in this eyeshadow palette! Cons: smells really bad; very little pigmentation; very uneven application; too much fall out; difficult to blend. This palette is just awful! I think I've got it for at least 4 years (if not more) and almost never used it.


I  even thought about doing a full makeup look using all these products, but then you would get scared and you would never return here to the blog! As you may have noticed, most of these products are from KIKO MILANO because I used to go there to buy a lot of makeup but I'm not going there anymore, simply gave up on the brand! As for H&M, they have improved a lot since a few years now and I'm curious to try some of their new makeup products. From the packaging to the quality of the product itself, it seems to me that much has changed.

Hoje trago-vos uma lista dos produtos que estão sempre na minha bolsa de maquilhagem! Esta não é uma lista muito grande, porque a minha bolsa é bem pequenina. No entanto, considero estes produtos fundamentais para a minha rotina diária de maquilhagem (e essa é razão pela qual andam sempre comigo):

1. Base - Eu uso a Fit Me Matte + Poreless da Maybelline (na cor 112 Natural Ivory) no dia-a-dia porque é uma base muito leve e é de cobertura média. Se precisar de mais cobertura posso sempre adicionar mais uma camada. Esta base é ideal para peles oleosas ou mistas.

2. Corrector - O corrector que uso também é da gama Fit Me da Maybelline (na cor 15 Fair). Não só corrige as imperfeições como também ilumina! É ideal para utilizar na zona das olheiras, e elimina aquele ar cansado que temos nas manhãs de Segunda-feira! 

3. Pó compacto - O meu é o Fit Me Matte + Poreless da Maybelline (translúcido). Usar uma base matte não é suficiente para controlar a oleosidade da minha pele na zona T, por isso aplico este pó compacto e a minha pele fica perfeita o dia todo! 

4. Kit de sobrancelhas - Uso a Brow Drama Pro Palette da Maybelline (na cor Deep Brown). Apesar de ter sobrancelhas cheias gosto de as definir e preencher bem. Para mim é um passo que faz toda a diferença no resultado final! Esta pequena paleta de sobrancelhas contém uma cera (que uso para contornar e dar forma às sobrancelhas), uma sombra (que uso para preencher as falhas) e um iluminador (que coloco por baixo do arco da sobrancelha). Para além disso a paleta contém ainda uma escova de sobrancelhas e um pincel angular.

5. Máscara de pestanas - A minha é a False Lashes da MAC. Eu já tenho pestanas grandes, o que ajuda bastante. Mas depois de aplicar a False Lashes, ficam enormes! Neste momento é a minha máscara de pestanas preferida!

6. Batom matte - Uso os Soft Matte Lip Creams da NYX. Tenho em 5 cores diferentes mas o meu preferido para usar no dia-a-dia é na cor Stockholm, que é um nude bem lindo! Se quiser uma cor bem vibrante uso o Addis Ababa que é um rosa super choque e é simplesmente perfeito!


Quanto à bolsa, ela é da H&M e foi uma prenda da minha avó quando fui a Portugal de férias em Abril! Isto mostra que a minha avó tem bom gosto, claro! A bolsa é linda, a combinação do preto com o dourado é simplesmente perfeita!

Como podem ver sou uma grande fã dos produtos da Maybelline. Acho que são produtos de qualidade e a preços bastante acessíveis. A gama Fit Me é simplesmente incrível e estes são produtos que eu recomendaria até para iniciantes na maquilhagem porque conferem um resultado natural mas excelente!

Today I bring you a list of products that are always in my makeup bag! This is not a very big list, because my bag is very small. However, I consider that these are key products for my daily makeup routine (and this is why they always go with me everywhere):


1. Foundation - I use the Fit Me Matte + Poreless by Maybelline (in 112 Natural Ivory) on a daily basis because it is a very light foundation and it's medium coverage. If you need more coverage you can always add up another layer, so it's buildable. This foundation is ideal for oily or combination skin.

2. Concealer - The concealer that I use is also part of the Fit Me collection by Maybelline (in 15 Fair). It not only corrects imperfections but also illuminates! It is ideal to use in the dark circles area, and eliminates that tired look that we tend to have on Monday mornings!

3. Pressed Powder - Mine is the Fit Me Matte + Poreless by Maybelline (translucent). Using a matte foundation is not enough to control the oiliness of my skin in the T zone, so I apply this compact powder and my skin stays perfect all day!

4. Eyebrow Kit - I use the Brow Drama Pro Palette by Maybelline (in Deep Brown). Despite having thick and full eyebrows I like to define and fill them in. For me this is a step that makes all the difference in the final result! This small eyebrow palette contains a wax (I use it to define the shape of the brows), a shadow (that I use to fill in the gaps) and a highlighter (that I put underneath the brow arch, on the brow bone). This palette also contains an eyebrow spoolie and an angled brush.

5. Mascara - Mine is the False Lashes by MAC. I already have big eyelashes, which helps a lot. But after applying the False Lashes, they become huge! At this point, this is my favorite mascara!

6. Matte Lipstick - I use the Soft Matte Lip Creams by NYX. I have them in 5 different colors but my favorite to use on a daily basis is Stockholm, which is a very beautiful nude! If I want a very vibrant color I use Addis Ababa which is a super hot pink and is just perfect!


As for the makeup bag, it is from H&M and it was a gift from my grandma when I went to Portugal on vacation in April! This shows that my grandma has good taste, of course! The bag is beautiful, the combination of black with gold is just perfect!

As you can see I'm a big fan of Maybelline's products. I think they have a great quality and reasonable prices. The Fit Me collection is simply amazing and these are products that I recommend even for beginners in makeup because they give a natural but excellent result!

Hey! Hoje venho mostrar-vos estas fotografias onde estou a usar o meu novo suede top em rosa, que comprei neste último fim-de-semana! Este tecido tem sido uma das grandes tendências deste Verão! A qualquer loja que vá, encontro imensas peças neste tecido, desde os tops aos coletes e saias! Abriu uma nova loja Primark num centro comercial perto de mim e resolvi ir lá dar uma vista de olhos. Encontrei várias peças lindas que resolvi comprar incluindo este top! Acho que é simplesmente lindo e gosto especialmente do detalhe nas costas! Pensei em fazer uma maquilhagem muito nude e natural para combinar com o top mas depois optei por um look mais intenso com este batom arrojado, que é matte e metálico (espero fazer uma review deste produto em breve), e que fez toda a diferença!

Hey! Today I come to show you these photos where I'm using my new suede pink top, that I bought this past weekend! This fabric has been one of the big trends this Summer! Any store that I go I find lots of suede pieces, from tops to vests and skirts! Primark opened a new store in a mall nearby and I decided to go take a look! I found several beautiful pieces I decided to buy including this top! I think it's just beautiful, and I especially like the detail on the back! I thought about doing a very nude and natural makeup to match the top but then I opted for a more intense look with this bolder lipstick, which is matte and metallic (I hope to do a review of this product soon), that made all the difference!

O post de hoje é ligeiramente diferente dos que costumo escrever. Sabem quando vão a uma loja para comprar aquela base nova que viram alguém usar num vídeo do YouTube e chegam a casa com uma base que vos deixa a cara laranja? Acho que todas nós já passámos por essa experiência! Por isso venho partilhar com vocês algo que descobri e que promete solucionar esse problema!

No que diz respeito à maquilhagem, sinto que uma das maiores dificuldades das pessoas é encontrar o tom de base certo. Eu própria, quando descubro uma base de que gosto e acerto milagrosamente no meu tom, tenho algum receio em experimentar novas bases. Apenas por ter medo de errar no tom.  Isto acontece-me particularmente porque nem sempre dá para andar a experimentar maquilhagem nas lojas, especialmente quando se trata maquilhagem mais barata e que se venda em drogarias e/ou supermercados.

Se têm uma base (ou mais) de que gostam muito e acertaram no tom, podem descobrir qual o seu equivalente noutras marcas, graças a este website! Assim poderão experimentar aquela base de que já ouvem falar há meses, sem ter receio de errar no tom! O website chama-se Findation e vou deixar-vos o link AQUI.

Today's post is slightly different from the ones that I usually write. Do you know when you go to a store to buy that new foundation you saw someone using on a YouTube video and go home with a foundation that leaves you with an orange face? I think we all have gone through this experience! So I come to share with you something that I found out and that promises to solve this problem!

When it comes to makeup, I feel that one of the biggest difficulties of people is finding the right shade of foundation. When I find a foundation that I like and miraculously get the right shade, I have some fear in trying out new foundations. Just by having fear of choosing the wrong shade. This particularly happens to me because you can't always try makeup in stores, especially when it comes to drugstore makeup.

If you have a foundation (or more) that you really like and you picked the right shade,  you can find out what its equivalent is in other brands, thanks to this website! Now you can try that foundation you've been hearing about for months, without being afraid to pick the wrong shade! The website is called Findation and I'll leave you the link HERE.

I consider this a great innovation and I'm already thinking about the next foundation that I will buy! I really wanted to try one from Urban Decay but I have not decided yet! And you, what did you think of Findation? Do you find it useful?

Olá Olá! Estou de volta com mais um post de maquilhagem! Desta vez venho dar-vos dicas rápidas e eficazes para disfarçar olheiras.

Para começar, é importante perceber como funciona a roda das cores! No caso das olheiras, estas podem ser de tom azulado ou roxo, e podem ser corrigidas com um corretor de tom laranja ou amarelo, respectivamente. Os corretores coloridos são, na minha opinião, a melhor maneira de corrigir as olheiras! Após terem escolhido a vossa cor, devem aplicá-la e espalhá-la bem usando um pincel, Beauty Blender ou até mesmo a ponta dos vossos dedos.

No meu caso um corretor amarelo é o mais indicado. No entanto ainda não consegui encontrar nenhum corretor líquido que seja amarelo (que é o que pretendo). Isto porque já experimentei corretores em creme e não gostei. Como substituto utilizo o Fast Fix for Undereye Circles da Alba Botanica, que é uma espécie de corretor amarelo mas não me confere os resultados que desejo visto que tem um acabamento translúcido.

Depois disto aplicamos a base! A aplicação pode ser feita de diferentes maneiras, como preferirem. A minha base é a Fit Me Matte + Poreless da Maybelline (na cor 112 "Natural Ivory") e faço a aplicação na zona das olheiras sempre com a Beauty Blender ou com a ponta dos dedos, dando leves pancadinhas. Não aconselho o uso do pincel porque este pode mover o corretor que está por baixo e não é isso que se pretende.

Após aplicar a base, e este passo é um pouco opcional, podem passar uma caneta iluminadora ou um corretor normal (mas mais claro que o vosso tom de pele) na zona abaixo dos vossos olhos, em forma de triângulo invertido. Eu utilizo o corretor Fit Me da Maybelline na cor Fair. Ao iluminarem esta zona vão eliminar aquele ar cansado que temos tendência para ter devido às olheiras.

Quando acabarem devem ter conseguido um resultado perfeito (ou muito perto disso)! Espero que tenham gostado e que este post vos tenha sido útil.

Hello Hello! I'm back with another makeup post! This time I come to give you quick and effective tips to conceal dark circles.

To begin, it is important to realize how the color wheel works! When it comes to dark circles, these can be blue or purple tone, and can be corrected with an orange or yellow tone corrector, respectively. Colored concealers are, in my opinion, the best way to correct dark circles! After having chosen your color, you should apply it and spread it well using a brush, Beauty Blender or even the tip of your fingers.

In my case a yellow concealer is the most suitable. However, I still couldn't find any liquid concealer that is yellow (which is what I want). This is because I have tried cream concealers and I didn't like it. As a substitute I use the Fast Fix for Undereye Circles by Alba Botanica, which is kind of a yellow concealer but does not give me the results I want as it has a translucent finish.

After this we apply the foundation! The application can be done in different ways, as you prefer. My foundation is the Fit Me Matte + Poreless by Maybelline (in 112 "Natural Ivory") and I always make the application in the dark circles area using a Beauty Blender or the tip of my fingers, giving light taps. I do not advise the use of the brush as this can move the concealer that's underneath and that's not what is intended.

After applying the foundation, and this step is somewhat optional, you can use an illuminating pen or a normal concealer (but lighter than your skin tone) in the area below your eyes, in the form of an inverted triangle. I use the Fit Me Concealer by Maybelline in Fair. By illuminating this area you will eliminate that tired look we tend to have due to dark circles.

When you've finished you should have achieved perfect results (or very close to it)! I hope you enjoyed and that this post has been helpful.
